Our stackable tier construction means that Spacefile systems are lower than our competitors 4 post construction for the same number of levels of storage and filing.
Spacefile tiers fit 7 levels of filing in 78” (total system height). Our products meet the fire code requirement of 18” clearance from the sprinklers. Our competitors are typically only able to get 6 levels of filing or storage in the same space, resulting in nearly 3,000 filing inches less than our solutions.
Modular
Spacefile’s systems can be expanded in length, depth, or height and our tiers can be attached to any mobile system, protecting your original investment in Spacefile. We measure and build to the exact requirements of our clients.
Spacefile’s products include storage systems in many sizes to accommodate conventional document filing, banker box storage, computer equipment storage. Our storage sizes and options are endless.
Security
The solid construction and mobile systems offer a variety of security options that are all PIPEDA & HIPAA compliant.
Spacefile’s systems are available with lockable carriages for secure storage and the carriages will lock with or without doors.
There are many locking solutions available such as gang-locks, tambour doors, and receding doors (on the Uni-Lock system).

Accessibility
Spacefile is designing mechanical assist high density storage systems that can be accessed by people in wheelchairs. Spacefile recently won a large tender where the qualification requirements were based upon the Wellington Accessibility Partnership-Facility Accessibility Design Manual. Spacefile was the only manufacturer that passed all the criteria that included space, ergonomic height requirements, and a 12:1 ratio for ramps for wheelchair access.
Internal Environment Considerations
Sterilcoat AM, an anti-microbial powder paint coating that prevents the spread of dangerous micro-organisms, is used on all of Spacefile’s products. No mildew or mold will collect on Spacefile storage units.
