Spacefile has multiple decking options available for our Demountable Floating Floor Track and Grouted Track.
Fully-Finished, Anti-Slip Steel Decking is constructed from fully finished heavy gage steel panels with an attractive powder coat micro-sandtex. This anti-slip surface provides excellent abrasion, impact, corrosion, stain, and chemical resistance. Steel panels are completely detached from the floor and track, allowing for easy removal without tools. Users have full access underneath the system for cables, maintenance purposes, cleaning or in case of flooding. No additional flooring or finish is required, eliminating the need for a third party to install any additional surfacing. Airflow, floor accessibility and full steel construction with no wood components create a safer indoor environment by drastically mitigating the growth of micro-organisms such as bacteria, mold or fungi. Anti-microbial powder coat option is available to help further protect against micro-organisms. Powder coat paint emits negligible VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) for a cleaner, healthier indoor environment than traditional plywood solutions. Steel decking meets CALL 133 standards for combustion performance. Steel decking is constructed from sheet metal with an average of 40% recycled content and is completely reusable. Unfinished plywood decking is a traditional deck solution, this process requires additional floor surfacing such as carpet, tile, vinyl, linoleum, etc. Plywood decking is typically grouted to the floor underneath for full support and accurate leveling. Fire resistant plywood is also available.
Finished Painted Plywood decking is available as an economical solution. Various types of paint and multiple colors are available. Plywood decking is typically grouted to the floor underneath for full support and accurate leveling. FSC Certified or Fire resistant plywood is also available.
